ROUTE 66 STAMP PLACE The Webb City, Missouri Route 66 Welcome Center is home to Webb City’s Chamber of Commerce and Community Development offices as well as the famous Route 66 Lakeside Mural. In his second Route 66 mural, artist John Biggs (former Webb City Mayor) portrays vintage automobiles and motorcycles in a rural setting just east of Webb City. Of special interest in the Lakeside Route 66 mural in bridge constructed in 1922. The 8-foot by 16-foot mural hangs inside the Welcome Center. Brochures, postcards and important information is also available to travelers.
