Parks in the Pines General Store
Parks, Arizona
The first store at this site opened along the National Old Trails Road in 1913. In 1921 the store and service station was purchased by Art Anderson and Don McMillan. They modified the store to allow for the entrance to front Route 66 in 1929. It is noted in A Guide Book to Highway 66 published by Jack Rittenhouse in 1946.
