This well known drive-in is home of the original hot dog on a stick, dipped in batter and deep friend. It has been owned and operated by the Ed Waldmire family on famous Route 66 in Springfield since 1949.The drive in still uses the same batter recipe and homemade chili that Ed Waldmire originally developed.
